DIY Wine Glasses
It’s no secret we all love a good party, right? I mean, we’re IN the party business! Every so often I’ll get the DIY urge and want to actually get my hands dirty! I got to thinkin’…how can I combine a great party product AND complete a cool DIY project at the same time? Hmmm, DIY wine glasses, perhaps?
Voila – Frosted Wine Goblets! Super simple and super cute…my kind of DIY!
Here’s how to do it:
- Wine glasses
- Rubber bands
- Frosted glass spray paint
- Garbage bag or other liner to place glass on
- Well-ventilated room
To make, simply place rubber bands around the goblet in whatever design you like. Place the wine glasses on a garbage bag or other safe surface in a well-ventilated area and spray paint them. After about an hour, take off the rubber bands, and voila (apparently I like saying that)! You’re done.
One important note: Make sure you shake the spray paint can well. The can says to shake vigorously for 2 minutes – they mean it. Don’t skip that step. Trust me. Take the time to properly mix the spray paint (and yes, it was about 2 minutes or more of shaking – enough to make your arm hurt), and you will be good to go!
Wouldn’t these fun DIY wine glasses make an excellent compliment to our fabulous drinkware??? The guest of honor at your party can rock their special birthday or bachelorette glass and the rest of the party-goers can also drink up in style. Add some cute wine charms and you’ve got a festive party look. LOVE IT! Give this DIY a try & let us know how it worked for you.
